Abstract

Description of the Greenville, NC, district meeting sponsored by the North Carolina Library Association. One of seven regional or district meetings organized during October 1948, this one featured a speaker from Sheppard Memorial Library, an address by Dr. John D. Messick of East Carolina Teachers College, an address by Mrs. Bullock on what farm women in Eastern North Carolina want in libraries (printed elsewhere in this issue), and a discussion of ways to encourage reading.
